Problem:

Influencer economy is worth $500bn globally and influencer marketing budgets are over $25bn p.a. already and continuing to grow at double digits. Simply put, it is a major sector of marketing and continues to gain a larger share of advertising budgets. 

As Brand budgets shift towards Influencer marketing, the need for more scrutinous measurement and data accountability becomes greater. Advertisers (& their agencies) are asking for more regular access to quantifiable and qualitative real time performance data, so that campaigns can be optimized even while they are live.

Solution:

Over the last 7 years we have built the sector’s leading tech platform, including the truly first unified real time measurement solution (‘InfluenScore’) and the first AI driven, predictive influencer selection tool ('InfluenSelect'), trained on 7 years of proprietary data, garnered from thousands of creator campaigns. 

Traction:

  • Offices in London (HQ) and New York
    £7.5m revenue in 2023

  • 137k influencers on the Takumi App/ platform

  • 1,300+ brands have used the platform across 4,000 campaigns to date

  • 14 industry awards to date

Fundraising:

We are raising £1.5m of new funding (of which £1m has been raised already from existing and new investors) to accelerate commercial growth and platform development. Targeting £25m+ revenue in 2026, at which point we will be seeking an exit to a strategic acquirer as part of industry consolidation. 

Investment in the form of a Convertible Loan Note:

  • Minimum ticket is £20k. 

  • 3 year maturity

  • 15% pa compounding interest until conversion

  • Converts to Preference Shares

  • 20% discount to next round

  • £20m valuation cap

  • 1.5x Liquidation Preference

Targeting a 6-8x (145-190% IRR) investor return, based on an exit in late 2026.
